Dr. Alexandra P. Hebert

In 2014, Dr. Alexandra Hebert graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley with a major in Integrative Biology and a minor in Anthropology. During her undergraduate studies, she was a tutor, undergraduate student instructor, research assistant, president of her sorority, and was inducted into the Order of Omega an Academic Honors Society.

Dr. Alexandra graduated from the University of the Pacific (UOP) Dugoni School of Dentistry with high honors in 2017. While at UOP, she participated in leadership roles both locally and nationally, including Student Commissioner for the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), President of Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity, Vice President of Professionalism and Ethics Association, and Vice President of the American Association of Women Dentists. Her dedication to academic and clinical excellence, as well as her extensive leadership experience, resulted in her induction into two dental honors societies, Tau Kappa Omega (TKO) and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) with the distinction of being in the top 10% of her graduating class.

Dr. Alexandra's passion for dentistry and eagerness for experience inspired her to pursue a General Practice Residency (GPR) after graduation from dental school. As a resident and employee at King’s County Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center in Brooklyn, New York, she continued her education with experience in surgical procedures, trauma care, complex restorative cases, implant placement, and cosmetic reconstruction.

Dr. Alexandra had the tremendous opportunity to provide dental care to under-served Native American populations as an Indian Health Services Dental Extern. Through IHS she was sent to Barrow, Alaska and the remote village of Wainwright. She was also elected co-leader of Great Shape! Inc.’s 1000 Smiles Project in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. All these experiences and more have continued to fuel her passion for widening access to dental care and have led to her interests in health care policy and advocacy at home and abroad.

Since returning home, Dr. Alexandra has remained committed to continued learning and service. She is a member of the California Dental Association and Stanislaus County Dental Society in addition to joining local study clubs. She continues to volunteer as part of CDA Cares, a volunteer clinic held throughout California, and at St. Mary's Dining Room in Stockton, CA.
